3rd Grade has been hard at work this week learning all about fractions! We even made our own fraction strips so we could see how the different sizes compare.

Fifth grade students completed an exciting interdisciplinary unit on Space and Greek Mythology in Mrs. Marenda's class. Throughout the unit, students visited the StarLab each day to explore constellations, planets, and myths connected to the night sky. They also developed problem-solving and technology skills by coding Mars rovers and learning how engineers design tools for space exploration. During Soft Start, students extended their learning by creating their own rover models, combining creativity with scientific thinking. This engaging unit encouraged curiosity, collaboration, and a deeper understanding of both science and mythology.
7th grade students learned how plants reproduce and dissected flowers in the lab!
8th graders reflected, absorbed, and transmitted light waves by building light mazes.
