SGS Gratitude Garden is planted by SGS sixth graders. Yellow ribbon of marigolds to say, “We Remember and Thank You” to all who serve our country and our community. Red, White and Blue flowers also honor military (past and present), First Responders, Seneca Food Pantry and all community members who serve to make our community a great place to live.

On Thursday, May 9, the first grade took a trip to Miller Park Zoo in Bloomington. We had an awesome day! The kids enjoyed seeing the crocodiles, monkeys, and especially the sea otters. In groups, the students observed which animals were endangered and why. They also really enjoyed spending time in the rainforest building and seeing the giant python!
Thank you to the chaperones who went with us to help make it a successful day!
